We differentiated Far Cry 3’s web page on the ASDA website. We aimed to create a design that represented the Far Cry brand, which would result in improved brand perception. Furthermore, we aimed to increase online conversation at the most important end of their sales funnel, the retailer’s product page.
The new product page helped distinguish this product from other games displayed on ASDA online. The well-defined product page allows online shoppers to preview the game after viewing a walkthrough users can choose to purchase Ubisoft’s video game.
Through strategy we were able to produce a user friendly web page that broadcasts product information in a visually stimulating way.
The campaign resulted in Xcite Digital helping Ubisoft to generate more sales through their retailers. Overall, the personalised product pages allowed Far Cry 3 to gain wide spread marketing nationwide.
