Loans2Go are one of main providers of unsecured personal loans in the UK.

Overview

Xcite have been working with Loans2Go since 2016, becoming long term partners and helping grow their online portfolio.

Loans2go have been around for over 20 years in the personal loan sector and are an industry leader in the provision of alternative, affordable loans. Being in one of the most competitive markets online and competing against power houses such as High street banks and comparison websites, they were previously not ranking for any major keywords and didn’t have any search engine visibility.

Originally brought in to help increase control over their lead flow rather than rely of third party brokers, Xcite took over their online portfolio to consolidate their digital marketing, improve brand perception and attract more customers.

Harnessing the potential of Paid Ads

The plan started by auditing the current website and addressing numerous technical issues affecting page load speed, we wanted to understand what was hindering performance and what was working so that we could build on it.

Issues were fixed and we moved on to increasing the volume of quality content, expanding out pages with unique relevant keywords, and improving keyword density. These were then submitted to the Search Console in the form of new sitemaps and manually reindexed.

Spam links were removed and a new outreach campaign was initiated to grow the volume of quality back links by reaching out to related partners with suggested new stories and appropriate anchor copy.

Campaign activity

Xcite have provided consistent value and growth for Loans2Go year on year, producing multiple websites and making sure they appear in top ranking positions across organic SEO, achieving page 1 for major keywords including Loans, and online loans, generating over 70,000 results per month.

Conversion rates were significantly improved by analysing the user flow of the website and making the elements appear at the right stage such as loan calculators and online forms that were easier to use. Everything was funnelled into the application form which was tracked back to conversion results so we could see how user flow was performing. This then fed into the PPC and SEO conversion results where we saw an improvement from £35 CPA to £9 CPA.

Results

Using deep Learning and applied multi-channel insight we successfully ran SEO and PPC campaigns that have created traffic volumes of over 70k per month. This successfully allowed Loans2Go to remove their dependency on lead brokers and become market leaders in their sector.
