We have scoured the web for some more brilliant social media marketing campaigns that have got people talking in the past couple of months.

So to start things off, we have one campaign that succeeded in running it’s contest across multiple social media channels while keeping its brand message strong and consistent.

SOBEYS AND JAMIE OLIVER CROSS CHANNEL CONTEST

Sobeys teamed up with Jamie Oliver to spread awareness of healthy eating and allow Canadians to engage with the food retailer. They promoted a contest encouraging users to share their favorite holiday dishes for a chance to win free groceries from Sobeys.

The contest was promoted on Facebook, and it also ran across Instagram and Twitter through the use of Sobey’s branded hashtag #BetterFoodForAll.

Since the launch of the digital media campaign, thousands of Canadians have shared their “better food” stories and dishes. In addition, it has introduced a new outlook to cooking and eating to a nation where obesity is a growing concern.
