Who’s the Dadi?

The results achieved for Pizza Express

A few months ago we told you about some of the work we’ve done for Pizza Express as part of a social media campaign to increase their online ‘fans’. We’re incredibly proud of the results we achieved for Pizza Express and it turns out we’re not the only ones.

Not only has the work Xcite Digital has done for Pizza Express been referenced in a new publication from Cheryl D. Rickman, called The Digital Business Start-Up Workbook, but we also submitted our work into the ‘Use of Social Media’ category in this years DADI awards….

And guess what?! We’re a FINALIST!!!

The Dadis (The Drum awards for the digital industries) recognise and reward digital excellence (why, thank you). Now in their 6th year, these awards bring together individuals and companies at the forefront of digital and providing the opportunity for those entering to prove how good they are.

The awards are being held in November at Emirates Stadium – something that also excites our footy mad office. The competition’s tough though with work for RBS, Kylie Minogue, the MOBOs and Gregs all in our category.

This is the first award we’ve entered since our MD, Rob Walker, picked up ‘Young Business Person of the Year’ from the 2010 Inspire Awards. We’re very excited to see how it goes and we’ve got everything crossed that we can take home the gold!
